  5. These are in 'cicn' resource format for the sole purpose of minimal 
  6. download time for the recipient.

  8. They can be changed into ICN#, icl8, icl4, ics8 and ics4 recources in
  9. just a few seconds using the "Explode cicn" application.  It takes a
  10. type 'rsrc', creator 'RSED' (ResEdit document) containing any of the
  11. above resource types and creates the remainder of the icon family for
  12. each ID number in the original file.  It's the only one I know of to
  13. "cross-pollenate" between cicn and icl8, quickly and easily.

  15. Some of the new ones require drag transfer, in ResEdit icon editor, 
  16. to make correct looking smaller icons, large b/w icons or masks, but
  17. the full sized color ones are usually a premo repro!

  19. Most of these are my own colorizations of other icons and some are
  20. my creation.  The palm-to-palm writing hands are for "Text Merge."
  21. The 18 wheelers for the mover apps. are unique. My front-view Style-
  22. Writer icon is, also.  My "TeachText" document icon better shows it
  23. to be such.  My standard Apple folder icons have a better look, I
  24. think, than the original.  I make MY icons for use by me.  I'm
  25. sharing them in case you might like mine better than some you use.
